Mülheim/Ruhr (dpa/lnw) - The police confiscated numerous weapons from the apartment of a heavily drunk and confused man in Mülheim. Among them was a crossbow with a laser sight and arrows, several knives, blank pistols and a sword. After the operation on Tuesday evening, the man was taken to the psychiatric ward of a hospital and stayed there for the time being, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. The man had previously called the police and reported a neighborhood dispute, which the local officials could not confirm. He screamed, gesticulated wildly and attacked the police officers. An ambulance was called to assess the man's health.
