North Rhine-Westphalia: Rain and thunderstorms are moving over North Rhine-Westphalia

Essen (dpa / lnw) - The people in North Rhine-Westphalia have to prepare for a rainy and little summery Friday. In the morning, the sky is changing to heavily cloudy and, particularly in the south-east half of the country, there will be showery and sometimes thundery rain, the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. Even heavy rain cannot be completely ruled out locally. The temperatures are between 22 and 25 degrees with weak to moderate wind, at high altitudes around 19 degrees. According to the DWD, the sky is still overcast at night, but it remains dry.

However, Saturday is far friendlier in North Rhine-Westphalia: it is clear to cloudy, and it is not supposed to rain either, explained the DWD. The thermometer shows 22 to 25 degrees in light to moderate winds, and 19 degrees at high altitudes. At night it will still be slightly cloudy or clear; it also remains free of precipitation.

On Sunday the temperatures will rise again to a summery 25 to 27 degrees, at least to 22 to 24 degrees at high altitudes. It will be clear to cloudy, there will be no rain. That's how it stays at night.
