North Rhine-Westphalia: Red traffic light ignored: Two injured in a car accident

Dinslaken (dpa / lnw) - Two people were injured when two cars collided on the B8 in Dinslaken (Wesel district). According to the police, a 48-year-old wanted to turn left into a street with his car at an intersection late Monday evening despite the red traffic light. A 41-year-old driver wanted to drive his vehicle straight across the intersection at the same time. The two cars collided in the middle. The elderly driver suffered serious injuries and the other driver suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
