North Rhine-Westphalia: Rheinallee tunnel closed for four nights from Tuesday

Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The Rheinallee tunnel in the left bank of the Rhine in Düsseldorf will be closed for four nights from Tuesday. The city of Düsseldorf announced that the reason for this was maintenance and repair work on the technical facilities. The tunnel will therefore be completely closed in both directions from Tuesday to Saturday between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. On Saturday (October 15), the tunnel was not passable until about 2 p.m. due to work on the power supply system. Detours are signposted. The Rheinallee tunnel is an important road connection to Düsseldorf from the west.
