Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) - Third division promoted Rot-Weiss Essen missed the first win in the new division on the fifth day of the game. The team coached by Christoph Dabrowski had to settle for a 2-2 (2-0) win against FC Ingolstadt 04, who were second in the table to date, despite leading 2-0. Felix Bastians (9th penalty) and Simon Engelmann (32nd) scored the goals for RWE. A double strike by Tobias Bech (84th/88th) earned the Ingolstadt team a point.
