North Rhine-Westphalia: Seriously injured cyclist rescued

Detmold (dpa / lnw) - Emergency services rescued a fallen cyclist in Detmold (Lippe district). According to the fire brigade, the woman fell off her bike on an area that was difficult to access, so that the fire brigade was called in addition to the rescue service. The emergency doctor switched from his vehicle to a fire engine to get to the scene and to be able to provide first aid. The woman was then taken to a hospital.
