Münster (dpa / lnw) - Because of an ill judge, the oral hearing in the dispute over a police photo published on Twitter at the Higher Administrative Court in Münster was canceled on Thursday. The new date is November 28 at 1 p.m., as the OVG announced on Wednesday.
The dispute between a fan of 1. FC Magdeburg and the police should be negotiated. The plaintiff feels that her fundamental rights have been violated because, in her opinion, she was recognizable in a photo published on Twitter. This happened during an admission check before the game between MSV Duisburg and Magdeburg in February 2017. With the photo, the head of operations wanted to warn advancing fans not to continue to put pressure on the entrance. There, about 100 fans had put on white rain capes. This had caused problems with searches for prohibited pyrotechnics. In the first instance before the administrative court in Düsseldorf, the lawsuit of the woman from Brandenburg was dismissed.
