Brühl (dpa / lnw) - A truck crashed through the railing on a bridge over the A553 near Brühl (Rhein-Erft-Kreis) and caused a traffic jam on Thursday morning. After the accident, the front part of the truck protruded over the highway below, the police said. Parts of the bridge fell onto the road. According to initial findings, the police assume that the driver lost control of his vehicle due to a medical emergency. The man came to the hospital.
