Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - A man in Dortmund is aiming for an unusual loot. During the night he tampered with a fuse box, which he wanted to pack into his car with a hand truck and take away, the police said on Friday. Witnesses had noticed suspicious movements on a building and alerted the emergency services. They came in civilian clothes, surrounded the building and arrested the 42-year-old when he tried to load the box into his car. What the man intended to do with it remained a mystery at first.
He is facing a preliminary investigation into theft - and also into driving without a driver's license. Because the 42-year-old does not have one, as it turned out.
