Bonn (dpa / lnw) - A woman in Königswinter is said to have been bitten by a snake. The incident happened on Friday morning, a police spokesman said. A neighbor called and reported that a woman was lying in front of the house and was shouting that she had been bitten by her snake. Rescue workers were then dispatched.
As it turned out, the bite probably actually came from a snake - from a 25-kilogram boa constrictor, fortunately non-venomous. According to the police, the animal was discovered a little later in an apartment in the apartment building and put back in its terrarium.
It was initially unclear whether the woman was really the owner of the animal and how the bite came about.
