Saxony: 21-year-old injured police officer with bottle during control

Riesa (dpa/sn) - In Riesa (Meissen district), a 21-year-old injured a police officer with a broken beer bottle. The officers had checked the man on Monday morning, the police said. They found cannabis, drug use paraphernalia and a precision slingshot. The 21-year-old demanded his slingshot back and harassed the police officers. He injured one of the police officers with the bottle. The 21-year-old is now being investigated for bodily harm, illegal possession of narcotics and violation of the weapons law.
