Muldestausee (dpa/sa) - A 20-year-old man was fatally injured in an accident in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district. The driver had left the road on the federal highway 100 near the municipality of Muldestausee for an initially unknown reason, the police said on Sunday. The car collided with several trees. The man was found dead near the car.
A 47-year-old discovered the severely deformed car on Sunday morning and reported it to the police. The exact time of the accident was initially unclear. Since the main road is very busy, the police assume that the accident must have taken place in the morning. The highway was completely closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The investigations continued.
