Halle (dpa/sa) - During the carnival parade in Halle, a 21-year-old woman was seriously injured on Shrove Monday. She was taken to a hospital, but it is unclear exactly what injuries she suffered, said a police spokeswoman on Monday when asked by the German Press Agency. The young woman was therefore hit by a motto car during the move.
How the accident happened is part of the investigation, the spokeswoman said. After the accident, the move was canceled and was able to start again this year after a two-year break due to corona. According to the police, the final event on the market square was also canceled.
