Saxony-Anhalt: 42-year-old found dead in gravel pit: cause of death unclear

Schönebeck (dpa/sa) - A missing 42-year-old man was found dead in a gravel pit near Schönebeck (Salzland district). In the forensic medicine, the man's identity had been clarified beyond a doubt, the police said on Monday in Bernburg. The cause of death has yet to be determined. But there is no evidence that the man was a victim of a crime. The police had been looking for the 42-year-old since September 24. The man is said to have lived in a garden in Schönebeck.
