Anhalt-Bitterfeld (dpa/sa) - A 74-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries in the hospital after a serious collision with a truck. According to the police, the elderly woman had been fighting for her life since August 18. Accordingly, the serious traffic accident had occurred in August on the B100 from Pouch to Bad Düben.
The woman lost control of her vehicle in a left-hand bend and ran into oncoming traffic. She collided with an oncoming truck. The force of the collision caused the woman's car to slide into a ditch. Firefighters had to free the elderly woman from the debris of her vehicle.
