Saxony-Anhalt: Driver destroys monument "The Five Senses" while maneuvering

Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - When maneuvering his car, a man in Magdeburg destroyed a monument called "The Five Senses". The 55-year-old drove into the stone column on Wednesday morning, which then fell over and broke into several parts, the police said in Magdeburg on Thursday. According to the information, the estimated damage amounts to a sum in the lower six-digit euro range. Police believe the driver missed the memorial.
