Halle (dpa/sa) - Moving into your own home takes an average of 16 months from the building permit in Saxony-Anhalt. This emerges from a press release published on Friday by the State Statistical Office in Halle (Saale) on the completion of construction.
According to the statistics authority, a total of 1971 residential buildings with one apartment were completed last year. Things went particularly quickly in 22 cases - in these cases the apartment was ready to move into within the first six months after the building permit was issued. For around a third, it took a maximum of a year before the keys were handed over.
