Tangermünde/Stendal (dpa/sa) - When several cars collided on federal highway 188 in front of the Elbe bridge in Tangermünde (Stendal district), one person was killed and several people injured. The police were initially unable to provide any information on Thursday morning about the exact number and type of injuries. According to initial findings, two cars collided head-on in a curve in front of the bridge for an unknown reason. Two other cars were then involved in the accident, it said. The main road was completely closed, but was released again in the morning.
