"Our languages ​​and dialects enable individuality and create community at the same time," explained Robra (CDU) on Friday in Magdeburg. "The day of the mother tongue makes a contribution to strengthening the sense of home." On this day (February 21) in Saxony-Anhalt, the focus should be more on Low German, which the state sees as particularly committed to preserving and maintaining. Among other things, Low German is promoted in day-care centers and schools.
