Schierke (dpa/sa) - The ice sports stadium in the Schierke district of Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains is becoming an open-air cinema. After the opening of the Schierker Sommer Kino on Friday, six classic films of various genres will be flickering across the screen at the foot of the Brocken until Sunday. For the opening, the choice fell on the children's book adaptation "Jim Button and the Wild 13" with Henning Baum, Annette Frier and Milan Peschel. According to the city administration, the comedy "The Perfect Secret" with Elyas M'Barek, Frederick Lau and Jella Haase will be shown on the evening of the first day of cinema.
