Saxony-Anhalt: truck accident on a motocross track: driver fatally injured

Ballenstedt (dpa/sa) - A truck driver died in an accident on the race track of a motocross club. The 62-year-old was on Saturday evening with the truck on the route of the Motor Sport Club in Ballenstedt (Harz district) to prepare for a race the next day, the police said. The driver - who was also a member of the club himself - came off the track with the truck for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The vehicle rolled over several times and the 62-year-old was trapped. He died at the scene of the accident.
