Saxony: Car hits eleven-year-old girl

Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - A driver hit an eleven-year-old girl in the Markersdorf district of Chemnitz and seriously injured her. The girl was taken to a hospital, police said on Wednesday. The 73-year-old came out of a roundabout on Tuesday afternoon and caught the child who was about to cross the road on a zebra crossing. The exact process has yet to be clarified.
