Saxony: Construction prices in Saxony have risen significantly

Kamenz (dpa / sn) - In Saxony, the prices for construction work have risen significantly. As the State Statistical Office announced on Wednesday, the construction of a new residential building in the second quarter of this year cost 22 percent more than in the same period last year. Within a year, for example, the prices for structural work had increased by 23.4 percent. Scaffolding and concrete work also became more expensive. According to the information, prices for civil engineering structures rose by 21.2 percent within a year for local sewers, by 23.9 percent for road construction and by 30.4 percent for bridges in road construction.
