Saxony: dead man found after fire in Dresden apartment

Dresden (dpa / sn) - After a fire, a dead man was found in an apartment in Dresden. As the police announced on Sunday, it is probably the 74-year-old homeowner. The cause of the fire on Saturday is still unclear. Two police officers who arrived at the scene of the fire before the fire brigade had to be treated for suspected smoke inhalation. The property damage cannot yet be quantified.
