Saxony: dead woman recovered from quarry in Bischofswerda

Görlitz (dpa/sn) - After an extensive search, a 58-year-old woman was found dead in a quarry in Bischofswerda (Bautzen district). This was announced by the police on Saturday evening. A diver found the missing woman in the afternoon at a depth of about four meters. They had been looking for her since Friday. According to their own statements, the police, fire brigade and helpers from the German Life Saving Society (DLRG) also used a sonar device. A tracking dog was also on duty. It will be determined how it came to the bathing accident.
