Saxony: FDP calls for a committee of inquiry into the corona pandemic

Dresden (dpa / sn) - The extra-parliamentary FDP has requested a committee of inquiry from the Saxon state parliament on the subject of corona. The liberals announced on Tuesday in Dresden that he should work through the measures taken during the pandemic and put them to the legal test. "It is also clear to us that the Free State had to react quickly at the time. But the political and parliamentary processing is important in order to learn from it and to be prepared for future situations," explained FDP leader Anita Maass. The AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament had already discussed a U-committee on Corona during the pandemic. The FDP has not been represented in the Saxon state parliament since 2014.
