Saxony: fire at hygiene article manufacturer: nine injured

Großpostwitz (dpa/sn) - Nine employees were injured in a fire in a hall of the hygiene article manufacturer Ontex in Großpostwitz (Upper Lusatia). As the police announced on Friday, the fire broke out on a machine early in the morning. According to initial findings, a technical defect was the cause of the fire, a spokesman said. The fire brigade was on site and put out the fire. The injured were taken to hospital with mild smoke inhalation.
