Saxony: pedestrian hit by car and seriously injured

Ehrenfriedersdorf (dpa/sn) - A 16-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in Ehrenfriedersdorf (Erzgebirgskreis) and seriously injured. According to the first findings of the police on Thursday, an 80-year-old drove her car through a red traffic light in the market on the B95 on Wednesday afternoon. The 16-year-old just crossed the street. Paramedics took the teenager to a hospital.
