Saxony: Pedestrians hit by a car and died

Elterlein (dpa/sn) - A 79-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in Elterlein in the Erzgebirge district and died. The investigations so far have shown that the woman crossed Schwarzenbergerstrasse on Tuesday and was hit by a car turning right, the police said on Thursday. The pedestrian fell to the ground. The 37-year-old driver was not injured. The police are investigating the accident.
