Saxony: Unknown people destroy the bus stop with pyrotechnics

Bärenstein (dpa/sn) - Unknown persons destroyed a bus stop in Bärenstein (Ore Mountains) with pyrotechnics on Sunday night. All windows of the bus shelter broke, and there was further damage to the shelter, said the Chemnitz police department. The property damage is provisionally around 10,000 euros. The police assume that firecrackers that are not approved in Germany were used. The first clues to the perpetrators are already being followed, it said.
