Saxony: Young skilled workers in Saxony should be promoted

Chemnitz/Nuremberg (dpa/sn) - The Federal Employment Agency and the Center for Securing Skilled Workers and Good Work in Saxony (ZEFAS) want to work to attract new skilled workers in Saxony. The aim is to attract young people from Central Asian Kyrgyzstan to Saxon companies and to integrate them in the long term, according to a statement on Thursday. At the beginning of the 2022 training year, more than 2,000 training positions remained vacant in Saxony, according to ZEFAS.

At the beginning of the project there was an information event this week, in which interested parties and companies took part, it said. Potential trainees should, among other things, complete language training in their home country. With the help of the immigration and integration network of the Free State, young people and companies will be given extensive support during the process.
