Soccer When is the Europa League draw: schedule and where to watch it

The Europa League reaches its final stretch with the quarterfinal matches. Only eight teams will fight in the penultimate round for the title of the second continental soccer competition. The matches of these qualifiers will be established in the draw that will take place this Friday.

The draw for the quarterfinals of the Europa League takes place at the UEFA headquarters, the House of European Football in Nyon (Switzerland) starting at 1:00 p.m. on March 17. Chance will configure the quarterfinal pairings with the hangover of the round of 16, whose return matches are played the day before (Thursday, the 16th). Thus, the names of the teams that are in the hype will be those of the winners of these matches:

It is a pure draw, that is, without restrictions without seeding and with the possibility that two teams from the same country face each other. The eliminatory ones will be numbered from 1 to 4 to determine the crossover of semifinals in another draw that will be held afterwards. The local team will come out of a third draw for the Europa League final, which will be held on May 31 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest (Hungary).

The first legs of the quarterfinals will be played on April 13, while those of the second leg will take place a week later, on April 20. For its part, the dates of the semifinals are May 11 and 18, 2023.

The draw for the 2022/2023 Europa League quarterfinals that will be held on March 17 at the House of European Football in Nyon (1:00 p.m.) can be seen on live television through the Movistar Plus platform ( Movistar Champions League, GO and GO BAR). You can also follow the draw through the UEFA channel (UEFA TV).
