Thuringia: 53-year-old seriously injured after a bicycle crash

An der Schmücke (dpa/th) - A 53-year-old fell off his bike because of a large stone placed on the bike path and was seriously injured. The man was riding his bike on the bike path early Thursday morning when he suddenly hit a stone about 50 by 30 centimeters in size, the police said on Friday. The cyclist suffered serious head and body injuries in the fall. The police are investigating.
