Thuringia: Driver drives with a good 2 per mille in wavy lines

Bad Salzungen (dpa/th) - The police stopped a heavily intoxicated driver near Bad Salzungen (Wartburg district) early on Sunday morning. Shortly after midnight, the woman drove in wavy lines on the federal highway 62 to Hämbach, as the officials announced. A patrol stopped the car and checked the 60-year-old driver. A breath alcohol test reportedly showed 2.07 per mille. The woman had to give up her driver's license and was charged with drunk driving.
