Erfurt (dpa/th) - Rainy and stormy in Thuringia for the weekend. As the German weather service in Leipzig announced, showery rain will come from the north on Friday evening. During the day it is initially overcast at nine to thirteen degrees, there are even longer dry sections or it only rains lightly. In the mountains, temperatures will rise to six to nine degrees. The wind freshens up and becomes stormy in gusts, especially in the mountains.
After more rain during the night, it will rain at times on Saturday at nine to eleven degrees. A moderate to fresh westerly wind will blow with stormy gusts. In the mountains it will be five to nine degrees. On Sunday the rain above 400 meters will increasingly turn into snow. During the day, however, the clouds recede and the sun comes out. The temperature drops to six to nine degrees, in the mountains between two and six degrees.
