Leipzig (dpa/th) - The weekend in Thuringia is not very wintry. At times it will even be cheerful, as the German Weather Service in Leipzig announced. Friday will be mostly cloudy at ten to thirteen degrees, with occasional rain. In the evening the sky clears up. In the mountains, a maximum of five to nine degrees is expected. A moderate wind is blowing, which can be gusty at times.
Cheerful sections are forecast for Saturday in particular. But in southern Thuringia it is mostly overcast, with nine to twelve degrees, there is no precipitation. In the mountains it will be five to eight degrees. A fresh wind is blowing from the south in the ridges of the low mountain ranges. On Sunday more clouds will gather again and it will rain at eight to eleven degrees from time to time. In the ridges it should be stormy again.
