Eisfeld (dpa/th) - A driver stopped a 63-year-old wrong-way driver on Autobahn 73 near Eisfeld in Thuringia on Sunday. According to the police, he turned on the hazard lights and headlight flasher and stopped them in the left lane. He also alerted the police. A police patrol cleared the roadway.
According to the information, the 63-year-old remembered shortly after entering the A73 that she actually wanted to drive in the opposite direction - and then turned her car on the motorway. A criminal case awaits them.
