As soon as he fell, the Spanish athlete was attended to by doctors, who came to help him after initially falling to the ground after hitting his head. The victory went to the Swiss Jason Joseph. The silver was awarded to Jakub Szymanski of Poland and the bronze to Just Kwaou-Mathey of France.
