Ile-de-France: the portion of the A13 between Paris and Vaucresson remains closed until further notice

The closure of the portion of highway 13 (A13) which connects the A86 in Vaucresson (Hauts-de-Seine) to Porte de Saint-Cloud, to the west of Paris, is extended until further notice, according to a press release published Friday, April 26 in the evening by the prefecture.

After the discovery of a “transverse crack” in the Saint-Cloud sector, the highway was closed for safety reasons on this part, in both directions, on the evening of April 18 until, initially, to Tuesday April 30 inclusive. “Backfilling work was carried out last weekend as first safety measures (…) However, very slight ground movements were observed,” explains the press release. “It therefore appears necessary to continue the investigations initiated and to carry out additional analyses,” adds the text.

“A meeting of experts will take place on Monday April 29 to take a complete stock of the situation and specify the reopening timetable,” it is specified.

Alternative routes

The A13 connects Paris to Caen, in Normandy, via the south of Rouen. It is particularly used by Parisians wishing to go to the Normandy coast. The Société des Autoroutes du Nord et de l'Est de la France (Sanef) operates this motorway, except between Paris and Orgeval (Yvelines), where the manager is the French State, represented by the Ile-de Roads Department. -France (Dirif). The authorities and the Dirif have invited motorists to use alternative routes, in particular via the A12, the N 12 and the N 118, to avoid this passage:

All users are also strongly advised to avoid the closed sector and to favor alternative routes as far upstream as possible (A15 or A86).
