Unidas Podemos and other government allies in Congress, such as ERC or EH Bildu, are studying responding with a common strategy to Vox's motion of censure and are considering disregarding the proposed candidate, Ramón Tamames, with minimal interventions by spokespersons to downgrade the political scope of the debate and expose that it is a "little show".

The talks began last week, when it was confirmed that Vox and Tamames had reached an agreement and that the motion of censure would be presented this Monday. It was ERC that took the initiative and began to poll other allied parties to see what they would do: whether not to intervene in the debate, whether to do so minimally, or whether to act normally.

In their retina is the brief speech made by the PNV spokesman, Aitor Esteban, in Vox's first motion of no confidence, with Abascal as a candidate. Just a minute in which he was emphatic in despising the debate: "We did not contribute to this nonsense."

For its part, the PSOE has already said that it is going to take Vox's motion "seriously" and is considering a very different strategy: use the debate to charge the PP and expose it for its possible future pacts with Vox after the May elections. That is why the Socialists advocate delaying the debate as long as possible and taking it, if possible, to April, as close to the start of the pre-campaign of the regional and municipal elections.

Meanwhile, Unidas Podemos is holding open talks with its allies and to this day there is still no consensus on the strategy to follow. "Given the grotesque, the little show and the ridiculousness that this motion of censure supposes, it should not make us waste too much time, neither the groups nor the population in general," said the co-spokesperson for Podemos, Alejandra Jacinto, who, although she did not want to yet to reveal what they will do if they have made clear their reading of that debate.

For Podemos, the motion of censure responds only to a "competition" between the PP and Vox to see who occupies the front pages of the newspapers saying "more atrocities" or making a "more delirious and delegitimizing" speech. For this reason, he has completely disregarded his interest, pointing out that the country's problems lie in mortgages or the shopping cart.

"The motion of no confidence shows that the Spanish right has run out of ideas and that the time has come to make a fool of itself," he pointed out in his criticisms during a press conference together with the also national co-spokesperson, Pablo Fernández.
