Taco Bell: Leave it to Taco Bell to launch a new buzz-worthy menu item, then rip it from the menu only a few weeks later. The Naked Chicken Chalupa, on the menu since late January, is on its way out sometime in March, according to the Irvine-based chain.

Mare and Salerno in Laguna Beach: Mare Culinary Lounge by Alessandro Pirozzi has closed in Laguna Beach. An employee answering the phone at Mare said the restaurant, located at the Holiday Inn on S. Coast Highway, is open only for private events. Last week, OpenTable said “Mare Culinary Lounge will no longer be part of the OpenTable network.”

Dunkin’ Donuts: The chain opened last week its newest location in Orange County at 18022 Brookhurst St. in Fountain Valley.

BevMo!: The brand is opening its first store of 2017 in Anaheim Hills on March 9. The beverage superstore, at 5717 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road, took over the former location of Foxfire Restaurant near the entrance of the (91) Freeway at Imperial Highway.

Sweet Lady Jane: The Los Angeles bakery popular with the Hollywood elite, has shuttered its only Orange County outlet. The Corona del Mar bakery closed Feb. 22.

Westminster Mall: The mall has extended its Saturday hours. The mall will now stay open two hours later, until 9 p.m.
