Tech Brigade The "cyber-grandmothers" of RTVE arrive

Three "ciberabuelas" -Pilar, Charo and Victoria- and Luján Argüelles are the ingredients of the new RTVE program, Brigada Tech, the program that caused the signing of Argüelles to be truncated due to the new Password of Antena 3.

RTVE has presented the actions it is preparing within the Pact for the Digital Generation to raise awareness of the importance of acquiring and applying digital skills on a day-to-day basis. Among other initiatives, the upcoming premiere of the 1 Brigada Tech program on digital skills, with Luján Argüelles, as well as various informative pills, on television, radio and the web, and specific information in programs, stands out.

The contents that RTVE will broadcast are included within Generation D, an awareness program within the National Digital Skills Plan, whose objective is to train citizens in the new challenges of the digital world coinciding with the European Year of Digital Skills. This common commitment materialized in December with the Pact for Generation D, to which more than a hundred entities have adhered.

And within this Pact its jewel in the crown is Brigada Tech, a weekly space for entertainment and dissemination presented by Luján Argüelles. Composed of 13 45-minute episodes, it will be led by three "cybergrandmothers" Victoria, Charo and Pilar, with a high level of digital skills, but eager to continue learning, who will travel to various points of the Spanish geography to resolve the doubts of the citizens.

"Brigada Tech is an entertainment program with a completely digital theme that seeks to arouse interest and unlock fears towards what sounds unknown. And with the grandmothers and mentors that we have gathered, we are going to be able to learn and laugh," said Luján Argüelles.

Together with the presenter and the three protagonists, well-known personalities from different fields and generations will join the task of integrating the population into the digital world.

Brigada Tech will face those that are still a challenge for many today, such as shopping online; report a cyberattack through the 017 citizen consultation line; take advantage of all the possibilities of a mobile device; or help an SME to make itself known on social networks.

The three protagonists will also interview people whose adaptation to the digital world has changed their lives and who serve as inspiration for those who are not familiar with technology.

Each week, the traveling set will travel through different autonomous communities in order to reduce the territorial gap and publicize testimonials of success and improvement throughout the entire territory.
