Ruth Lorenzo visited the set of Plan de tarde on Sunday, February 26 to promote Cover Night, a musical 'talent show' on La 1 in which she will be the presenter. The singer spoke in the magazine hosted by Toñi Moreno about one of the toughest stages of her professional career.

"What has been the most difficult moment for you? Has there been a moment when you say 'I won't continue, I'll throw in the towel'?" asked Juan Sanguino, a contributor to the format. The guest replied: "There are so many... As an artist, you always question yourself. When you finish an album and make a release, then you have to start writing another. What am I talking about now? And who cares what what can I say?".

The Murcian admitted: "I think my hardest moment has been these last two years, in which I've been trapped in a hellish contract. You really see that, as an artist, you don't own yourself." The one who was representing Spain in Eurovision 2014, she stated that she wanted to "be free" when she cut her hair in a live performance.

Later he said that he had worked with a team of people who told him how he had to behave at his concerts. She gave an example of what she had been told on one occasion: "Don't talk tonight, just dedicate yourself to singing because nobody cares what you have to say." She also indicated that she had been recommended to keep her hair long to "sweeten her image" of her.

The interviewee concluded: "There came a time when I stopped being me. You sign a contract that someone else owns 20%, not you 100%. They own part of the work, they can't buy me ".

Toñi Moreno showed in Plan de tarde images of the Cover Night set. The presenter of this format in which cover singers will compete will be Ruth Lorenzo. She will be accompanied by Ana Guerra and Abraham Mateo, who will narrate what happens behind the scenes. The program's jury includes Miguel Bosé, Mónica Naranjo, Chanel Terrero and Juan Magán.
