More than three years after the spectacular break-in into the Green Vault in Dresden, investigators find most of the loot. More than 30 individual parts are seized - including particularly valuable items.
The authorities in Berlin have secured a "considerable part" of the stolen goods stolen from the Green Vault in Dresden in 2019. Police and prosecutors said 31 items were secured on Saturday night. Among them were several particularly valuable items, it said.
During the burglary in the Green Vault in November 2019, culturally and historically valuable jewelery from the 18th century was stolen. There was no trace of the loot until the end. Since January, six suspects have been on trial before the Dresden Regional Court, and a seventh man is under investigation.
