Pasapalabra has spent months showing the confrontations between Orestes Barbero and Rafa Castaño in the rosco. Antena 3 has confirmed that one of them will complete it after almost 200 duels and will win the biggest jackpot in the history of the program, a prize that exceeds 2,250,000 euros. It can be seen in a delivery that will be broadcast between Monday 13 and Friday 17 March.
The contestant who succeeds will succeed Sofía Álvarez, who won 466,000 euros in September 2021. Since the format's premiere in 2000, only one participant has won a prize of more than two million euros.
