Crime: Lady Gaga's dogs stolen: Four years in prison for perpetrators

After stealing the dogs from US singer Lady Gaga (36), one of the perpetrators was sentenced to four years in prison. The 20-year-old was convicted of participating in an armed robbery, US media reported on Thursday, citing the responsible prosecutor in Los Angeles.

Together with others, the man attacked Lady Gaga's dog sitter on a walk in February 2021 and stole two of her dogs. The "Dogwalker" was seriously injured by a shot.

The robbery happened during Lady Gaga's visit to Italy while she was filming. The actress and musician announced a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her dogs. Two days after the attack, a woman had given the animals to a police station. The police later arrested five suspects, some procedures are still pending.
