Father-in-law of football professional: Tyrolean celebrity chef should belong to "Reich citizens".

Apparently they were not only planning the violent overthrow, but also the time afterwards - and that also in culinary terms. Several media reports that the well-known chef Frank Heppner was among those arrested in the "Reichsbürger" raid. He has family ties to ex-Bayern star David Alaba.

According to Austrian media reports, the well-known Tyrolean chef Frank Heppner was among those arrested in the raid on the "Reichsbürger" scene on Wednesday. The 62-year-old is said to belong to the group around the ringleader Henry XIII. Heard Prince Reuss who was planning the overthrow in Germany. Accordingly, he should become a kind of food minister. Heppner is no stranger to prominent circles. His daughter Shalimar is in a relationship with soccer star David Alaba, who was under contract with Bayern Munich for many years and now plays for Real Madrid.

Heppner comes from Munich and runs the kitchen of a five-star hotel in the posh ski resort of Kitzbühel. According to media reports, after a successful putsch, Heppner was to take over "the canteens of the new German Reich" and take care of the military arm of the new government. As the newspaper "Die Presse" reports, Heppner is also suspected of having procured food, kitchen utensils and an emergency generator for the putschists. He is also said to have paid for a mobile home.

Heppner was arrested in the Tyrolean hotel on Wednesday, it is said. So far, the local police have not wanted to give official confirmation of his arrest. As the news portal t-online reports, Heppner is said to be on his way to Karlsruhe to see the Attorney General. The question of detention should therefore be clarified there.

On Wednesday, the police and the Federal Public Prosecutor took action nationwide against a suspected terrorist network of Reich citizens who are said to have planned a violent overthrow. 25 people were arrested - including the former AfD member of the Bundestag Birgit Malsack-Winkemann. An armed attack on the Bundestag was in concrete preparation, possible deaths were accepted.

However, the arrested group did not pose an acute risk of overturning, said the President of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Thomas Haldenwang, on the "RTL Direkt" program. The accused had been under surveillance since the spring of this year. Almost all those arrested are said to be still in custody.
