Russian interference: the RN files a complaint against the rapporteur of the commission

The RN counterattacks. Marine Le Pen's entourage did not digest either the tone or the content of the report concluding the five-month parliamentary commission of inquiry into foreign interference. Initiated at the request of the National Rally, the cenacle was, in the mind of its president, the RN deputy of the Somme Jean-Philippe Tanguy, to wash in particular the suspicions of collusion between the party with the flame and the regime of Vladimir Putin. This was without counting what the commission's rapporteur, the Renaissance deputy for Hauts-de-Seine Constance Le Grip, would retain from the thirty or so hearings carried out: the RN is an "effective transmission belt" of the Kremlin in France .

If the report should not be made public until June 8, its conclusions have already been published in part by RMC and Mediapart. Marine Le Pen was quick to retaliate, calling the content "like the rapporteur, that is to say sectarian, dishonest and completely politicized". The president of the commission, he does not intend to remain with these simple exchanges of courtesies.

Jean-Philippe Tanguy, according to our information, filed a complaint this Friday against his rapporteur, Constance Le Grip. A letter that Le Point was able to consult. The deputy RN accuses the deputy Renaissance of having "willfully breached the obligation of secrecy which was imposed on her with regard to the disclosure of the content of the report adopted by the Commission of Inquiry". Article 6 of the ordinance relating to the functioning of parliamentary assemblies prohibits the disclosure or publication of information relating to the non-public work of a commission of inquiry under penalty of the sanctions provided for in article 226-13 of the Code. criminal: one year imprisonment and 15,000 euros in fines.

In question: a video published on Renaissance's official Twitter account on June 1, 2023, as well as two interviews given the same day to Liberation and Sud Radio, in which the rapporteur "describes the content of the report in detail", underlines in her Complaint Jean-Philippe Tanguy. If the RN deputy himself gave a press conference on the same day devoted to the parliamentary commission of inquiry, he claims to have "limited himself to commenting on the anonymous leaks in the press" without revealing new elements. of the report. The chairman of the commission of inquiry may not stop there and says he reserves the right to make other reports. "Ms. Le Grip's public statements could indicate that she knowingly manipulated her role as rapporteur to focus her requests for a public hearing exclusively on people linked to the RN, and on the other hand systematically exonerate any link of foreign interference in his report the personalities linked to his former or current political family. »
