The concerns of second division soccer team Arminia Bielefeld are getting bigger. Coach Daniel Scherning's team lost 1-2 (0-1) to Karlsruher SC and remains bottom of the table after the eleventh matchday. The KSC, on the other hand, is targeting the top places in the table. After goals from Fabian Schleusener (43rd) and Marvin Wanitzek (54th), the former Bundesliga club improved to sixth place, at least for the time being. Janni Serra had equalized in the meantime (52nd).
Scherning changed his team to six positions compared to the disappointing performance in Düsseldorf (1:4). Bundesliga relegated SpVgg Greuther Fürth narrowly avoided a major setback on the way out of the bottom of the table. After all, the Franconians fought a 2-2 (1-1) win at Jahn Regensburg on the eleventh second division matchday and moved up to 16th place for the time being through the third game in a row without defeat.
