SC Freiburg comes to Munich with a strong series behind them: the team has not lost eleven games in all competitions, recently they rushed from success to success. FC Bayern, on the other hand, is struggling in the Bundesliga. On the 12th matchday everything is reversed: the record champions shoot goal after goal.
Now Bayern, who are suddenly hungry for goals again, are the first hunters from Iron Union. In the top game of the Bundesliga, the series champions, even without the top wolves Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller, dominated a briskly beginning but then, as always, winless SC Freiburg at the 23rd appearance in Munich with 5: 0 (2: 0). Freiburg's 20th defeat in Munich was sealed.
The sports club was only involved in the early stages. Coach Christian Streich's team pushed boldly, but missed the opportunity to offensive pinpricks like a counterattack that captain Christian Günter missed (26'). Goalkeeper Flekken kept the Breisgauer in the game for a while with a few saves.
